How much does it cost to list a vacuum truck?
Nothing, on Standard: the listing runs 30 days, renews in one click, and never asks for a card. Featured is $150 a week or $500 a month and keeps the listing live until you cancel.
How soon does my listing go live?
Once we have checked it. A person reads every listing before it appears on Vac4Sale — that the equipment is real, that the photographs match the description, and that the contact details work. Until then it sits in your dashboard marked “In review” and is published nowhere. A paid plan is no different: the payment clears first, then the same check runs.
How many photos can I put on a listing?
Standard carries up to 20 photos, and Featured up to 60 photos plus 3 walkaround videos and 5 spec sheet PDFs. Moving a listing to Featured applies the higher allowance immediately, and nothing already uploaded is ever removed if that listing later returns to Standard — the cap governs what can be added.
How many listings can I run at once?
No limit on how many run at once — that holds on Standard and on Featured. Mark one sold or let it expire and it comes off the market without affecting the others. There is a separate limit on how fast you can ADD them: 5 new no-charge listings per account per day, so get in touch before loading standing inventory.
Do you take a commission on the sale?
No. There is no commission, no success fee and no buyer fee. Inquiries go straight to you, and the sale happens between you and the buyer.
How long does a listing stay up?
A Standard listing runs 30 days and can be renewed in one click from your dashboard. Featured renews automatically every month, or every week on the weekly plan, until you stop it from your dashboard.
Will my phone number be public?
Only if you choose. You tick which channels are published — email, phone, or both — and anything unticked is never rendered on the page or in the page source.
What can I sell here?
Vac4Sale is for complete units: hydrovac trucks, vacuum and combination sewer trucks, jetters, water and septic trucks, vac trailers and soft track units. It is not a parts marketplace.
